Capsule computers recently interviewed Michael “Hegi” Hegemann the Creator, Game, Art Director and programmer of The Haunted Hell’s reach. You can hear what he had to say including some insights into the games development and history.

Just a quick update, unfortunately The Haunted Hells Reach has been banned In Australia so therefore cannot be sold in this country. (There is always the option of getting a nice friend to gift you the game on steam or importing the retail version from the US.)

We have released a patch for The Haunted: Hells Reach that addresses problems we had with the dedicated server’s authorization.
This has now been fixed, so we have released The Haunted: Hells Reach Dedicated Server, which is now available from the Tools menu within Steam. We are really grateful to everyone that setup servers and help of the community.

For those of you who haven’t already noticed The Haunted: Hells Reach is now available for download at steam! So what you waiting for all hell has broken loose!

Many of you have been asking where the steam store page has gone for your country, due to restrictions we cannot sell the game before we have got it rated in certain countries such as Australia, which means the page has been removed until this has been sorted. Although the UK and Japan should get their steam page back very soon as there is nothing stopping us from selling purely digital distributed titles in these country’s.

Also we can give you an update about the game being available in Germany uncensored that it will be uncensored! You should be able to be able pre-order via steam now! For those of you who haven’t noticed we have now got an official steam forum but we will continue to answer all questions on our forum as well.

We thought we could give you a little behind the scenes of making one the maps, so we took 30 screenshots throughout several weeks in the making of Night Frontier one of the Wild West themed maps. We look forward to seeing your maps in the next few months! update: we added a couple more!
